James Cavalier was just starting middleschool when IAAN the disease that killed most children from ages 8 to 14 and gave the rest unexplainable powers hit in his town. James was classified as a Red, meaning he had fire abilities. When Clancy Gray convinced his father to start Project Jamboree to enslave the Reds, James escaped and went on the run with his brother Nate, a yellow. Together they hope to take down Gray but they meet more IAAN victims and recruit them. Now they are invincible and ready to fight til the end.
