Serendipity mean finding something good without looking for it

God has beautiful plan for every human, you just have to trust it.

But, for Izaya... He never believe in God. He's been through a lot in his life, no matter how many he pray to the God, nothing change. So he have to go through the worst time alone, and stopped believing in God. 

After the fight with his Arch-enemy, he got a serious wound and fell into a deep sleep.

And when he wake up, he wasn't in Japan anymore. He was on one of holiest place in the whole world, the Vatican City.

For someone like Izaya, what will he  learn from that city? Will this change him into a better person? Will this become his "Serendipity" that will make his life change forever? What exactly he will found on that city?
