Kinsley Williams is a twenty year old university student. Nothing in her life has ever come easy to her. She comes from a broken family and tries to keep to herself hidden from the outside world. Both of her parents were killed last year in a random robbery gone wrong. Or so that's what everyone thought? But Kinsley thinks there's something more to it. Ever since that dreaded day, she has learned how to fight and defend herself because she knows the same people who murdered her parents are going to be coming for her too.

Ashton Miller is a twenty-two year old gang leader. He's the notorious bad boy. Everyone knows his name and knows to stay away, because whenever he's around trouble always seems to follow. After Ashton's father was shot last year from a random shooting, he has been on the hunt for answers. On the hunt for answers to his father's death, he never imagined meeting a girl that would change everything for him.
