Elliot had returned to some version of normalcy, though his life was never normal. A new girl has moved into Shayla's old apartment. She's different from the people who lived there before her and vastly different from anyone who lived in the building before. Like Elliot, she keeps to herself and hardly leaves her apartment but other than that she seem rather normal. As time passes Elliot does what he does best, he hacks. But its more of the same. The story is based on possible events that could occur in these days. Nobody knows what's out there on the internet, and what's in people's minds.
