World Saga: A Vessel Unbound
What if the myths were never wrong - just waiting? The world changed the day the towers appeared- impossible monument of stone, sand, and something older than any history. They rose overnight, each pulsing with a power stranger than any other. The fallout was immediate. Governments scrambled. Religions fractured. And myth began to blur with history-until neither could be trusted. Inside each tower, something ancient waited, offering power to those brave-or desperate-enough to listen. Shin was just a student when the towers came. A nobody with nothing to lose. But he walked into the storm and emerged as something else. Now, he hunts what others fear to approach-chasing the truth behind the towers and the divine beings within them. But the higher he climbs, the more the truth begins to twist. The towers aren't doors. They're warnings. And what lies beyond them... is no longer waiting to be found. What to expect: - A competent, strategic MC - Multiple worlds - Unique power system blending cultivation and magic - Rich lore and layered mysteries inspired by Tower of God, Percy Jackson, and Lorien Legacies
Survival - Howl in the Night 2
I am going to be doing a major edit on this story in Feb 2016. When I finish the edits I am going to delete this version and repost. Mari has finally found a place where she felt at home with Dan. Though she is eighteen for various reasons he has been designated as her guardian. It has been several months since the events that led to her being changed and saved. Now Dan is forcing her to return to the hell she calls high school to get her diploma. How is she going to deal with having guys, and a few girls, hitting on her? Is her wolf going to help or be a problem? What does her future really look like? Will the new friends she is slowly making be true or fake? She is most definitely not looking forward to all the drama of kids who haven't encountered both the supernatural and living on the streets. As I am publishing my stories they will be found at smashwords and my blog is on wordpress: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/Maxd01 https://clarkb003.wordpress.com/Complete
Nexus: Between Worlds
When eight high school students sneak into the abandoned Clearwater Mental Hospital on a dare, they encounter Nyx-a mysterious patient their age who claims she's been trapped there for longer than she can remember. Before they can process her warnings, reality fractures around them, and they're pulled into The Nexus, a twisted supernatural dimension where survival depends on completing deadly games across different worlds. Each location they're thrown into-a haunted Victorian mansion, a cursed forest shrine, an abandoned amusement park-harbors its own supernatural horror. Vengeful spirits, demonic entities, and occult nightmares hunt them through every challenge. The rules are brutal: complete the game, or die. Refuse to play, and everyone perishes. Leading the group is Malachai, the school's untouchable prince-brilliant, sharp-tongued, and inexplicably strong enough to fight off supernatural threats with his bare hands. While everyone else panics, he remains eerily calm. His mysterious abilities and knowledge of the occult make him both their greatest asset and biggest question mark. Nyx, despite her fragile appearance and mysterious past, proves surprisingly resilient and perceptive about the supernatural threats they face. Her innocent optimism clashes with Malachai's cynicism, creating sparks that neither expected in a life-or-death situation. As they navigate nightmare after nightmare, an unlikely romance blooms between the boy who trusts no one and the girl who shouldn't exist. But with each game they survive, darker truths emerge: Why does Malachai know so much about this world? What is Nyx's real connection to The Nexus? And why does it feel like they were chosen? Between screaming at jump scares, bickering over terrible survival decisions, and accidentally summoning things they shouldn't, this group must survive not just the supernatural horrors hunting them-but also the secrets they're keeping from each other.

But Perseverance, a Night Warrior who believes One needs redirection to find "proper" romance, makes One's life miserable from sundown to sunup. One has many reasons to despise Perseverance. So when he meets Michael, an expert at light magic, it's really not a question of "if" One will embrace this prophetic Destroyer role and enact vengeance--it's a matter of One having no clue how to control his magic, or take on a castle full of Night Warriors by himself.
