So, just a disclaimer. This is an old story I wrote for my four best friends back in middle school and I wasn't very good (I'm still not that good). I've tweaked it a bit but the plot is still the same. One of my friends, who's in the book, has asked me to put this up along with the sequel for some time now. So, yeah. Enjoy. Oh! And also, the cover is just using cats to symbolize my friends and I. The book isn't actually about cats. Also, the chapters are really short. --------- I've always dreamt of going on some amazing adventure with my friends but I never thought it would actually happen. One day, I'm just working on science homework and the next I'm in the Amazon forest with my four best friends on a mission. Not to mention, animals are disappearing more and more every day. Have you ever liked some guy that is popular, attractive and yet annoying, rude, mean at the same time? I'm sure nearly every girl has. Mikasa your typical girl who likes this really hot guy in her class but doesn't have the confidence to confess to him. Typical, isn't it? But don't think that they'll end up falling in love, that's too cliche. Instead it's going to be a whole twist and turn of events for this girl when she meets a boy called Alex whom she 'befriends.' Alex is the whole opposite of who Mikasa likes. Although, she becomes quite close to him, telling him her crush and him encouraging her and helping her out. Will spending time together bring them closer than just friends? A story that is nothing more closer to reality.
