Steampunk city with a type of regime, fantasy elements and vampires (a lot more like Alucard from Hellsing then this teen drama bullshiet) guy gets pushed into a rebellion by a pupet master like entity. Plus there is a horrific enemy with lots of gore which was inspired by monsters from deadspace. Look i am awful at powerphrasing. just read a couple of chapters (and excuse how bad the first one is, ill have to rewrite that one ;-;) and see if you like it.
This now serves as a prologue to my current much larger book (Stainburrow) but it is very separate from it. It also requires a complete re-write. Should information in this conflict with something in that book than Stainburrow should be considered cannon rather than the prologue.

Ruthless Fate (Book 1 of The Ruthless Empire Series)
In an alternate reality, London is steaming with the latest vehicle inventions and tea. Rumour has it, that Greenfield Corporations is creating their newest invention yet to debut? Could it be a car? Could it be another steam ship? Or maybe something awfully unimaginable? Elora, a reserved and aspiring business owner, focuses on one thing only: Her workshop. She is troubled to find that business has lessened and that more and more of her clients seem to be...sick. The unknown infection has left her with many questions, resulting in her investigating the root of it. No matter how much he loathes her, he also cannot seem to get her out of his mind. So as to gain some sort of repulsion against her, he helps her investigate the ongoing infection in London's alleys. To his surprise, he finds something of her that drags him deeper into his affectionate misery. As the two battle unhinged infected people, grumpy nobles and the whispers of the high society, they struggle to find a way out of the tunnel of neverending chaos. Maybe this could lead to the ruination of London... Ready yourselves for the hot tea that is about to be spilt. (Please note that this isn't historically accurate and contains themes of violence, gore and partial horror meant for mature audiences. Read with caution.)

It began with a king who lost his queen, and found visions instead. Umos Talos crowned himself Emperor, claiming descent from the forgotten Aumenors. His visions split the realm, birthing two banners: the Anointed, armed with machines and prophecy, and the Concord, sworn to resist by council and vote. From besieged cities and starving families, to merchants caught between profit and ruin, to lords defending old blood-feuds turned holy war, every voice tells a piece of the empire's unraveling. This is not a tale of heroes, but of survivors: soldiers choking on smoke, widows burying husbands in mud, lords forced into rebellion. War spreads. Old feuds ignite. I tried experimenting with a GRRM-style book using multiple POVs and chapters, but honestly I shat myself as it's just too much. If this little draft (about 24k words so far) has already overwhelmed me I can only imagine what GRRM is going through with The Winds of Winter. If this ends up rated highly (I've never used Wattpad, so I'm not even sure how that works) I might continue. Please share your feedback.

*Wattpad deleted my original and i have literally no idea why. There was no smut, rasicm,eating disorders, or anything triggering in my story except violence and some mild swearing.
