Nero encounters a strange woman in Redgrave City, according to her she is searching for her husband. She hasn't seen him in years or at least she thinks she hasn't. The thing about her is that she can't remember a thing. So he brings her home with him, immediately she becomes friends with Kyrie. When she encounters V, she takes a particular interest in him. Will she find out who she is, or will her former self be forever lost in the void.

Sticking out like a sore thumb is V, a mysterious man with demonic power that are unlike the others. To the outsider, he looks like a frail person. But to her, he was a reflection of her older self and someone with more depth than what one can see from his outward appearance. In the course of the journey, her curiosity has led her to be by his side, and to stay there, through thick and thin and through the shadows under veil of night.

Years after the events of DMC5, Vergil and Dante manage to escape the Underworld and seal it from anything powerful from being able to escape. The Sparda Twins make their way back to the shop, and are reunited with Nero, Trish, and Lady. Vergil sees Nero happy with Kyrie, and realizes he can't get Nero's forgiveness after what he did. So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did. He moves back with Dante and Nero, and joins the Devil May Cry Business, all while raising Y/N.

On top of all going on in Celestia, a chance meeting with a certain infamous demon hunter causes Lynaria to take a step back from all she's perceived to have known. This causes her to have to open herself to new knowledge of herself as well as the world around her. Will meeting this demon hunter provide the safety she so prays for? Dante has been in the demon hunting business for 15 years and will always jump at the opportunity to help those in need. Taking the least to most dangerous missions, it helps stave off the loneliness he experiences intermittently, exacerbated by the thoughts of failing his brother and mother. One fateful phone call brings him to Celestia, England to face a threat terrorizing the young women of the city. When he crosses paths with an empathetic, reserved young woman, it causes a spark to ignite that he felt had gone out a long time ago. *Set after the events of DMC3 and before DMC1. V(VERGIL) X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Vergil's fall from grace has always been shrouded in mystery and even more so, his time spent as V, the physical embodiment of his humanity. A night spent in passion with the woman he's loved for years unfurls some of the hidden thoughts of the few days prior to the battle with Urizen as well as reveals the hidden emotions he held for her for years. With recounting his time as V, Vergil is able to work through a lot of the feelings he had previously deemed he was unworthy to experience. Esme has been devoted to Vergil's ideals for years, blossoming from the day he saved her life from the servitude of her church. Having endured the torture of losing her life alongside of the his, whom she loves more than anything, when awakened and freed, Esme continues to dream of that very loss as a reminder of what she perceives as being incapable. Even after being reunited with him and being undyingly loved by him, Esme continues to muse about that time period amongst other mysteries. It is during Vergil's unloading, Esme is able to find what grounds her to the moment and solidify her place at his side as the strong, devoted, and loving woman she is. **This story follows Stay in the same universe. NERO X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Calypso Lynne Magdalene spends her overnights working in a 24 hour coffee shop, nestled in the center of Redgrave City, while trying to make a career for herself caring for others as a registered nurse. Having moved to the city to focus on school and distance herself from a horrible breakup, she finds herself entranced when a certain handsome demon hunter walks in with some similar complaints in the romance department. An empathetic soul, she lends her ear to his disgruntlement, hoping to help soothe his frustration. Will she allow herself also to heal through helping him and in turn, perhaps finding love in one another? Nero wasn't expecting Kyrie to break things off suddenly, after years of being together. This left Nero with a lot of frustration and self criticism, writing himself off of dating. Period. Opting to focus on his career as a demon hunter instead, he convinces himself into thinking he doesn't need that sort of distraction. Their peaceful life disrupted by an unknown enemy who put Vergil into a comma and brought back the memories in past Fortuna during his slumber. Dante now had to find the cure for his brother, as his path intertwined with Nero, who investigated a demon incident on a request on behalf of an odd woman. The past and the present were connected with a line of fate.
