For Zack, life was always cruel. He was bullied at school by kids who barely knew him and bullied at home by people he'd been with all his life. It was unlikely that life would get better, so he was resigned to what he was dealt.
That all changed with a song.
He finally felt warmth and acceptance creep into his life through the notes that Jesse played, through the slow rise and fall of his voice. There was something about him that made Zack feel at home, especially when Jesse's music was the last thing he heard every time he fell asleep.
Maybe fate's not that cruel after all. Will Jesse's songs truly save Zack's heart?
