While the others chased after Wyvern in a last chance fight against the Other, the elder Luminary pair fought their own desperate battle for survival against the hidden entity beyond the veil. After Golem had evacuated the cavern under the Celestial Falls, he turned his attention to DragonFae. Rescue couldn't come for them.

DragonFae had been dragged under by her own magic, and Golem was the only one who could reach her.

They were divided between two worlds, but united in song and spirit.
