Miller Briggs is a dashing Scottish actor caught in a hurricane of his own making -- a drug problem, an unfulfilling career, friends who use him for photo opportunities, and a complicated engagement with the gorgeous actress, Summer Hawthorne. Furthermore, he is relentlessly pursued by a ruthless paparazzo who is waiting for the moment Miller fails.

Graysha Hammond is a brassy disaster with Cheeto stains on her jeans and chocolate milk spilled in her second-hand purse. She knows too well that fairytale endings don't happen in real life. She's loved before and been hurt before. Her heart is permanently out of order and she's happier that way.

Miller and Graysha's paths cross and they form an unlikely friendship. As Miller's confidante, Graysha is escorted behind the curtain of Hollywood and experiences the cut-throat intrigue of the Its, Almosts, Has-Beens, and Never-Weres.

Despite all odds, Graysha is determined to be part of Miller's world and make his heart ache for her... as hers does for him.
