a mermaid stuck in a lab trying to get home.  her mother was plucked from the sea days before she is to give birth. due to stress from being captured and the birth of her baby, the mother dies but a locket is left in the baby's possession as she passes to another world. 
18 years later the baby has grown into a beautiful woman. life seems ok but she knows that there is a whole world on the other side of these walls waiting for her to come home. 
but how can she escape when she is sealed in a cage only opened when its time to feed. how can she get to the sea to this home that her mother left so many hints in the tank for her to find? how to can she do that alone? not possible. but when he starts working there possibilities become reality.
