To this day we still survive through our teachings, language and stories. This is the story of my cultural awakening.

A young boy's life has changed forever, as a baby he was removed from the reservation because his parents were killed in a house fire. When he got older, he was returned to the reservation into the hands of his grandparents, who raised him and taught him his traditions.
