In now present, post apocalyptic DC, the Church rules everything. This religious government believes in the Holy Elder, the one who will come and save the world. But in order for him to descend, all the adolescents must die.
G, a seventeen year old girl, has avoided death for four years. Rebelling against the Church has been her mission since she turned thirteen. When the Body Rebellion begins, she jumps at the chance to get involved. Along with the leader, Breaker, she starts riots and fights against the system. When the final riot breaks out, G has many unresolved issues. Things she never said, things she never did, questions she never asked. In the end, G looks back on her life and how it all began, and if it really has to end.

It consumed every surface of my body and mind like a deadly cancer It had become a promise to myself. A reminder. A standard. It was a rule applied to every person in my life, except him... This short story is the product of a lost bet. A friend challenged me to write it and we both enjoyed it enough that I wanted to share it with all of you on WattPad. A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product.
