In now present, post apocalyptic DC, the Church rules everything. This religious government believes in the Holy Elder, the one who will come and save the world. But in order for him to descend, all the adolescents must die.

G, a seventeen year old girl, has avoided death for four years. Rebelling against the Church has been her mission since she turned thirteen. When the Body Rebellion begins, she jumps at the chance to get involved. Along with the leader, Breaker, she starts riots and fights against the system. When the final riot breaks out, G has many unresolved issues. Things she never said, things she never did, questions she never asked. In the end, G looks back on her life and how it all began, and if it really has to end.
