Grace isn't where she thought she would be at the age of 24, single, working and living in turmoil as her brain works in overdrive trying to understand where her life went so wrong. Her story is real and raw. One of growth and discovery as she navigates her way through mental ill health and an eating disorder she has denied having for years.
When did she loose herself and when did she become consumed by it?
This is a story based on my experience but is written as a fictional version. Please be aware now that this story contains content on mental health disorders and eating disorders. It's a personal story and a subject I take seriously. This story is not written to glamourise any of these topics and I am not encouraging eating disorders or any other mental health condition. Please be kind and respectful in the comments and do not read if you don't feel ready to, if it is something you don't feel comfortable reading and may trigger you.

TW! Eating disorders, self harm, rape, panic attack, alcohol, suicidal thoughts/attempt While streaming one day, some people in the chat comment on George's weight. He laughs it off in the moment but starts to watch what he eats and work out more. Eventually he eats less and less and tries to convince himself and others he's just not hungry or he's on a diet. Is weight what really matters in life? Maybe it is, maybe it's not. Maybe some people care about it more than others. Livia, 17-year-old girl gets to experience the real raw world. Friends, best friends, are suddenly making her conscious of her body. The comments are driving Livia to the deep end, suffering endlessly from the need to starve, to always be more beautiful. It was under control
Jules Hart returns to the psychiatric ward, her life has fallen apart once again. She had it under control. Or was it all just her imagination? She encounters trials and tribulations with her eating disorder recovery, being forced into situations like no other; ending in painful repercussions and unhealthy coping mechanisms. After deciding she no longer wants help, Jules escapes the psychiatric ward; resulting in her attempting to take her own life. The consequence of her actions, broke Tom's heart in the process, all the while he held her sick body.
