In the 1880s, a town called Starkwood was in the middle of nowhere. No car, no phone, no radio, just crops & houses. But mysteriously, there was a mansion right beside the town. The Jackson Family lives in this mysterious mansion. The Jacksons had everything the townsfolk didn't have. Phones, radios, diamonds, gold , & lifetime of food supply. The townsfolk thought the Jacksons was witches or bad spirits that came to destroy there crops & houses. So one day, the townsfolk went to the Jacksons mansion & burned there bodies. The townsfolk took there jewelry & food. They left nothing behind, the mansion was empty. What the townsfolk didn't know ,that Maestro had escaped. Its now 2020, the little town became a little bigger & the population started to grow. Now there's stores & business buildings all around the town. But the Jacksons mansion still remain in the same spot. Trees & bushes grew around the mansion. Making it become an abandoned house. But a couple of good friends decided to explore the Jacksons mansion. Hoping they find lost treasure or dead things. Or will they meet the ghost of jealousy?

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister Kit
