"The wind in his hair felt nice. It was cooling against the sun and wax that had been burning his back. It reminded him of every moment he sat alone on the window ledge of Minos' tower, praying for some kind of deliverance. Yet, it also reminded him of every moment he sat on the window ledge next to Apollo; he remembered the feeling of Apollo's soft fingers running through his hair, he could remember the feeling of his head against Apollo's chest, listening to his heartbeat.

In those moments, he almost felt human."

For a long time, Icarus thought he was alone. Until one night, the world showed him he wasn't.

Celestial London Chronicles #1 Long ago, the sun Xyliath, one of the ancient gods, fell in the first Blood War for peace. Her burning tears formed a flaming sword, which she gave to her son Aurelius. The sword had the power to destroy worlds and create new ones, but above all it possessed a power that no other god had. The ability to kill a god. No man, no hand and no weapon could cut through the skin of a celestial being and take out its heart. The Sword of Xyliath was the only exception. For centuries, the sword was protected by the sun god Aurelius, until it was stolen. The sun god, who has long rivalled the moon god, blames the latter for this and sends his grandson Silthos, the god of love and desire, to capture him. The young god receives support from the most feared deity of all - Aristaeus, the god of blood and war. This unusual partnership is intended to save the world from a possible new assassin of the gods. But the collaboration proves to be more difficult than expected. Silthos' usual charm doesn't seem to attract the god of blood and war, and Aristaeus' penchant for blood and torture even gives Silthos the creeps. Two men - a psycho and an unkissed man who embodies lust and desire. Can they save the world from the power of the sword? Who can they trust and, most importantly, can they trust each other? I called back while climbing into my chariot. "But you only get a kiss if you come back alive!" ---- "Welcome to Castle Dimitrescu, my name is-." "Isa?!" I cut them off, causing the demigod to look up in shock. "...I-I knew you were here, but I didn't expect you to be working here." "...[Y/N]," Isa tensed before glancing behind them, relaxing a second later. "I take it your Father sent you with the medicine? Come in, it's freezing out there anyway." I stepped inside before they shut the door, handing them the bag as I shivered. "You're telling me. At least it's very warm in here." "Mhm," Isa frowned and placed their hand on my lower back to guide me through the castle. "Come on, let's get you warmed up. [Y/N]... There's something you should know before you see Hunter - I know that's another reason you're here."
