Aurora Borealis is a member of White Diamond's court, usually performing tasks for Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond when White is away. Her only task is to catch the infamous Purple Pearl, which proves to be difficult. At a gem gathering, Aurora Borealis meets Pink Tourmaline, who sweeps her off her feet, and whisks her away from her duties to join her ragtag team of misfits.
