Alex Salvatore is the daughter of Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert. Her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia to try and get away from the supernatural. However, it's hard to get away from it when one of them, Alex, is human-vampire hybrid. She's basically a vampire, but is immune to the sun, isn't fully immortal, doesn't need to feed on blood and can't create other vampires. The only thing is, she doesn't know any of this yet.

As far as Alex is concerned, she's just a regular 16 year old girl born from two normal parents. But, when she runs into her "Uncle" Alaric in Atlanta along with a student of his, Hope Mikaelson, the Salvatore name will begin to be heard again throughout the supernatural community. It just won't be Stefan or Damon, but Alex, who will restore their name. All while falling for the beautiful and selfless witch named Josie Saltzman.
