Tiny Little Storms

Hero Palvin (Diane Guerrero) and Yaya Hammam (Sydney Park) were childhood bestfriends until high school when Hero decided to up and move away to a boarding school in 12th grade. She claimed it was for a better education but Yaya thinks she was too scared to face what transpired between them; their growing feelings for each other. Hero and Yaya did nothing about these feelings beyond quietly acknowledging them, as they were both terrified of what that could mean. They both clinged on to each other for dear life for all of their friendship. When Hero moved away, she ripped Yaya's heart apart, and Yaya has hated her since. Hero returns to the modest small town of River Pine after 4 years, upon graduating varsity, unearthing old wounds. Will Yaya forgive Hero? Will they get the happy ending they both longed for for years? Or are there other feelings to explore?
