When standing high on relevé, not even gravity can pull Brie down. Coming from humble beginnings, in order to dance Brie spends long hours in the dance studio which she affords by spending longer hours at the counter. Taking her place at the front of the bar smelling like pizza sauce and oregano she leaves little time in her life for anything else other than dance and work.
One night when Lazaro Santoro, son to one of the richest families in the city, stops by for a slice of pizza after a championship fight he can't help but connect with BriE. With so much in common they seem meant to be. But, coming from two different worlds, they quickly wonder if their relationship can handle the prejudice money can inflict.

I place my frail dainty hand into his, "So, what kind of trouble did you get into that left you looking like that?" I ask gesturing to his face.
"No, no trouble. My old lady would kill me. I'm a boxer. My pops trains me and lets just say" he waves a hand over his face, "My defense could use some work."
"Well congrats on your win." I say tipping my imaginary hat in reference to his fathers earlier words.
"Thanks." he says while sliding a slice of pizza out of the pie and onto his plate. He stuff his mouth entirely before deciding to ask my a question, "What's a beautiful girl like you doing in a place like this so late?" I hardly make out his question through his full mouth.
I can't help but giggle slightly as he realizes what a slob he's being and tries to half heartedly cover his mouth. I hand him a few napkins so he can clean up, "A girl needs money, you know."
