Ariana Embry first suspected something was a little off when she noticed a strange figure, appear to her inside the walls of Nottingham Valley's only high school. Nevertheless, she had lived a fairly normal life amongst the other mortals that populated in thrived in the Valley. However, it wasn't until she encountered the angelically handsome, Kai Pierce, in the local library that her life, as she knew it, would change forever.
Only a few days after they met, the town was casted into a state of fear and agony as the body of one of Ariana's classmates was found dismembered on the steps of the school, by what the local news is calling "The Beast of Nottingham Valley" And with Adonis's unhealthy obsession for human blood and his overwhelming need to protect his mate at all cost, Ariana soon learns that the terror that walked the streets and crept into households was taking on a life of its own.
What will come of her sanity when her Mythology teacher is substituted by a mysterious, stunning specimen of a man that she can't seem to stop thinking about? Can her blooming romance with Kai withstand her insatiable thirst for the trybrid? Only fate will decide.

I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! My blue eyes fumed in anger as my wolf was released. I am a white wolf. Liam's eyes bulged as he saw my true form. He then smiled ready to fight. I lunged for the bastard, knocking him to the ground. His other minions rushed towards me all attaching me at once. I attempted to fight against them. They kept coming on me and it was becoming too much for me to handle. My fur had gone from a snowy white, to a bloody reddish color. So much blood. I laid down. Maybe just a minute of rest. I saw Liam walk up to me. He looked down at me and smiled. "What's wrong little wolf? No more energy?" He smirked. Then Liam was suddenly thrown to the damp ground by something, a jet black wolf with glowing red eyes. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
