Hero, villain, heroine, sidekicks, and extras are the roles of the characters of a story. 

I am a being whose job is to maintain the world created by 'mortals.' And the worlds are the stories created by them.

I'm spectating them and checking if they are following their roles properly. 

One mistake and everything will be over.

I sighed and surrendered my hands. I'm just doing my job peacefully for a long time, but this one story dares to hide the heroine!

"I am just a spectator whose mind was blown up because of this particular place which we can call 'your world.'"

"What?"

"I'm kidding. I'm a scholar."

She tilted her head and lowered her spear. 

I don't know why this world became a mess. I was surprised when I saw them capturing the seven-year-old kid girl and hiding her here in a cave for almost thirteen years.

"Let's go."

"Where?"

"To your home. Let's use your role to return everything in place."

That's the plan, but...

"You said I was the heroine. Does that mean I have the power to choose my hero?"

"No, everything has been---"

"You, you will be my hero from now on. And it would be best if you protected me from the danger I will encounter. After all, I'm the heroine, right?"

She tilted her head and grinned, "I won't accept another hero except you. Refuse, and I will abandon my 'heroine' title and destroy this world. You know I can do it. This world loves my very existence."

I was doing my job correctly. I need to fix this and return to my comfortable life. But why is everyone in this world crazy?!

I don't know what gotten in me that I walk inside the church and there I saw the girl She was standing at the middle of the beautiful decorated isles, she was about to cry but she was trying hard to hold her tears. "Alicia..what are you doing?" I saw the groom and the bride was shock, people are whispering around. "Kito, diba ako naman ang mahal mo? Diba? bakit? Bakit ganito? Bakit Michelle?" her tears are already on the verge of falling, "Alicia, you couldn't understand? kahit kailan di na ako babalik sayo kahit mamatay pa ako" I heard the groom said, damn! too much drama, "Peru mahal na mahal kita Kito..sobra kitang mahal" she suddenly wailed hard, she sounds like a slaughtered cow! I walk to the girl and hold her hand nakita ko pang nagulat siya na nakita niya ako, well I am more even surprise myself why I am doing this. "Let's go" I said as people continue to murmur around us. "Peru...Kito.." I clearly heard the desperate tone of her calling, damn! this things people can do for love "Let's go Alicia" I firmly said before I started to walk outside holding her hand tightly, she seems reluctant at first as she made a final glance to the couple.
