Lonliness. A word that shuns you in society for not finding someone to call a "friend". Being alone means being powerless, hopeless, useless. To most, they see it as an excuse to not conform. To few, it's absolute bliss. In the year 2078, things have changed. No one is alone, thanks to the Buddle system put in by our very own government. No one is ever "alone" as they've got somebody by them at all times. Less crime goes unwitnessed and more gets done. Everyone seems happy knowing someone has their back, but is that really the case? Follow Bianca, an analytical girl who wishes to have her own space, and Malcolm, a flamboyant guy who can never express himself fully, in their investigation to escape their fates. One is the loneliest number, but two can be as bad as one, especially if that person is stuck with you for life....

LEFT HAND

This is my very first... thing ever published. A story that is frankly likely to be boring for most people, but only those who won't have enough heart to detect deep emotions that personally pushed me to finally let you read it, hiding all alone between the lines and the little unconscious humor that Simon transmits to us by letting us dive into his head... It's about loneliness, sadness, regrets, relationships, love... Feelings. Some more confusing than others, some more violent than others, some more forbidden than others... But all as sincere as every line of this short story. I won't say more; I'll let you discover this... thing. Thanks in advance for clicking on LEFT HAND, and I hope you'll like it. I'm sure that right now you're somewhere quiet, relaxed and convinced that you know who you are, who your friends are, or the people closest to you... What they are going through, what is going on in their heads... I was like you... But I was wrong. °°°°° ⚠ Warning ⚠️ The story you are about to immerse yourself in is not fiction. It takes place approximately between June 17th and September 5th, 2003. Some events, dialogue, details, and characters have been added for dramatic purposes, but each chapter captures the essence of a real story, the story of the lives of people who actually existed (and who may still exist). This novel contains themes of depression, violent accidents, obsessive-compulsive disorder, verbal abuse, unconventional coital intimacy, drug use, and suicide. Reserved for mature audiences. Enjoy reading.
