Ripley is an introvert gifted with telepathy, he has been using this power since he knew how in order to help the innocent. But when crime rates drop to next to nothing, he is left with an excess of power, as are many others like him, leaving him vulnerable and dangerous. Suddenly, the Kingpin of crime resurfaces, committing heinous crimes through innocent civilians, it is now time for Ripley and the unlikely gang of heroes to find out who he is and stop him. But can Ripley overcome his personal struggles within this group of strangers to save the day, or will he too, become a casualty? Before he loses his mind like the rest?

So I've done some basic writing before but I've been working on this plot for a long time (and am still editing and improving it as time passes) so hopefully this comes out well.

Hullo! This is my first story to be published and I honestly don't expect it to be read. This is a random AU I thought of and wrote within five days. I really liked the stories about heroes, villains and vigilantes of the dsmp, although this does not take place on the smp. Tommy, after leaving work is given a book and witnesses a fight between a villain named Mage and two heroes named Anaglyph and Warden. 2 years later, he starts learning magic, with Mage training him to become the new Tome user. Tommy must choose himself if he wishes to become a hero or a villain and chooses to become a vigilante to start off with. But meet a missing hero and his friend, he uncovers secrets about the heroes that he never knew. Tommy can use this to his advantage, hold it over the heroes heads and threaten to release everything. Can Tommy live in a world of superpower and people who've been in the industry longer than he has? With only magic? Words - 80,944 Chapters - 32/?? Note: writing will be all over the place as i'm still trying to stay to a plot line. It'll make zero sense btw. And near the end it starts moving slower since i've kinda lost motivation.
