Life really dealt a shitty hand to SCP-706, the living porcelain doll. Life in the SCP containment centers is already hard enough when you're strapped down so you won't hurt yourself and you can't make sure that you're still looking pretty, but when the Serpent's Hand strikes, perhaps this SCP will finally find hope, and maybe even "return home".

The story behind her claws and tails by UniteTogether
45 parts Ongoing Mature
In the world where a mysterious, government-funded organization hides anomalies from the civilians, one of their subjects manages to escape. After losing the Foundation's pursuit she accidentally falls into a deeper hole, as another organization attempts to hunt her down. In a world where she doesn't trust anyone aside from her fellow SCPs, who aren't there to save her, she meets someone, who manages to save her from certain death. Knowing humanity's worst side, she is reluctant to accept the help, but is forced to due to the circumstances. Will she manage to trust again? Or is her past going to drag her down? The SCP Foundation had a containment breach, and one of their SCPs managed to escape. Of course, similar things happened in the past multiple times, and O5s were familiar with situations like this. What made this matter an emergency though, was the fact that the escaped object is a keter, and a rather sadistic one. They have to use everything they can to try and find her before she kills anyone. Very quickly however, they realize that finding her is going to take longer than initially expected... New chapters are published on Sundays according to the CET timezone. Constructive criticism and comments are highly appreciated. Warning! As of the moment of writing this, the story contains graphic depictions of violence, which are severe enough to classify this story as "mature". Depending on which ending I choose for this story, more warnings may apply in the future which will further solidify the "for adults" classification.

DHF-BOT 1396-A sits in a lone room surrounded by white walls and equipment, and before it was a dainty flower with beautiful yet melancholic white petals whcih sits in seclusion. The flower, a white chrysanthemum, said to represent life and death itself now sits as the final hope of humanity itself... Sixty years ago, a rapidly evolving virus sweeps through the continent and over the few decades, managed to wipe out twelve percent of humanity and is rising in count. The only hope came in the form of a specific species of flower that was on the cusp of extinction. Due to innate properties that could potentially halt and eradicate the virus off the face of the earth, it was heavily kept under wraps, to the point where research was held in secluded plots of land. In a lab containing the final known white chrysanthemum, DHF-BOT continuously works days and nights with the help of researchers, and the moment the cure was finally developed disaster strikes, destroy nearly all data, plunging humanity into chaos... Knocked out and deactivated in the middle of analyzing the cure, DHF-BOT wakes up, only to find 300 years had passed in its dormancy. With a promise to keep, the robot sets out with a goal to save what remained of humanity in mind...
