"You chose us. Now we get to choose you." Eric tells us. He moves in front of us establishing dominance. There's an authoritativeness in his voice that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I look around and everyone is looking worried or scared. I turn around and lock eyes with a pair of greenish blue ones. The owner of them was Eric and the look on his face told me that he was going to enjoy this. Kellsie left Abnegation for Dauntless. As much as she hated Abnegation she's starting to think choosing Dauntless might have been a mistake. She has to survive not only her fellow initiates but a three-stage initiation that will decide if she'll stay or becoming Factionless. Not to mention a leader in training who goes out of his way to harass her but also fights for her attention against a fellow member. Over time she becomes a prominent Dauntless member but still is treated as an outsider. They say Faction Over Blood. Easier said than done when people in your Faction want nothing to do with you and would give you up to a power hunger Faction for being Divergent. A/N-This has some trigger points that may be uncomfortable to read. I will mention at the beginning of each chapter if it has these points in it. Titled is based on the song Monster by the Girl and the Dreamcatcher. The cover for this book was done by the amazingly talented @Mariana_Colon.All Rights Reserved
