On the other hand, she was back with Gale and Prim. She still went hunting with her partner, even though their relationship started changing. However, Gale's rants against the Capitol in the middle of the woods were no longer to be ignored. Percy's death drove her past the edge of grief, into rage, bitterness, and hatred. Then she started hearing stories. Stories of revolutions in other districts, refugees being helped by a mysterious raven-haired savior. While she still may be on the edge, the Victory Tour that is forced upon her may just be enough to push her over the edge...All Rights Reserved

This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination. Unbeknownst to her, Percy has also entered his name into the Hunger Games an obscene amount of times, giving all of his subsidies to families like the Everdeens. Percy's life changes irrevocably when Sally is killed, sending him into a deep depression. Primrose Everdeen, the only contestant to Sally in terms of popularity because of her lovable nature, becomes his new purpose, but what happens when Katniss volunteers for her in the Reaping, and Percy himself is chosen next? Will he fight for survival, or for something else entirely? This story pretends that Trials of Apollo doesn't exist. Sorry. But still battling with Trauma from the games she managed to find the light in the darkness. Finnick Odair met her from being a mentor for his own district and after she won he helped her through the trauma that he knew came with winning the games. But after Katniss and Peeta win the games and a spark is ignited among the districts and the victors are called back for another game. They knew nothing would ever be the same again.
