" You don't understand. I have blood on my hands. Innocent people's blood. It's too late for me to change," Axel murmured to the woman in front of him. She stood with her hand now resting on her newly acquired blaster.
Axel noticed and scoffed quietly to himself; she was afraid of him. Her demeanor was calm and still, but her eyes held fear.
She stood with a scowl as she kept her eyes on the man in front of her, never uttering a single word.
Axel finally stepped closer to her before continuing," Stop trying to fix me, Rey. I'm a killer, and I always will be. So why can't you get that through your thick skull."
He glared at her, but deep down, Rey could sense his pain. Grief and shame were radiating off of Axel as he moved passed her, forcefully, bumping his shoulder into hers. He never looked back once to the one person he would consider his family.

He could barely stand to be someone he wasn't. But his past called for him. "I am a liar. A manipulative beast." He reached out and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear.
