AUTHOR'S NOTE: My favorite thing about Frozen is Elsa's struggle with her powers and, of course, her relationship with her sister. Is it possible to recapture the feeling of the first film without being repetitive or redundant? I believe so, and this story represents that belief. In my mind, Elsa suffered from depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and I was convinced that the right (wrong?) set of circumstances could bring about a relapse. Such is the case with real world people who deal with these complex issues. This story explores the results when those circumstances occur. Although rife with drama and romance, it's also meant to be a mystery/thriller. I hope you enjoy! NOTE: The first draft of this story was completed and published in its entirety before Frozen II was even announced. Any similarities to the official sequel are purely coincidence. They apprehend the child, and present her to the King and Queen. You try to help Elsa, and become closer with her in the process. When her parents die in a shipwreck, she ends contact with you. Four years later, when Elsa inadvertently places Arendelle in a perpetual winter and disappears, you set off on a journey to find her. Closely follows the events of the the first Frozen film.
