“That's the thing, El. I know everything that's going on.” I sent her a wink. “You see, it's actually quite simple, once you think about it. Kamryn wants Liam, who wants Kaessie, who wants Harry who sort of wants her back, but who really wants Evelyn, who wants Niall, who wants Layla who wants Harry.” She gaped at me a long time trying to process it all.
“What? That's... Crazy. How do you know all of this?”
“Because, love, I'm in on it all.” I winked at her again. “I'm just a by-stander in all of this. Besides, I find it sort of fun to watch, up until today when I got pulled into another episode of 'Pretty Little Lovers.'”
“This whole situation... Don't they realize, it's just a bit... Twisted?”
“Twisted isn't the word. That makes it sound demented. I think more like... Tangled. Tangled because they're all wrapped up in a web of relationships, and don't notice when they're caught up.”
“That's smart, Louis... It's just a bit tangled."
