Long before the dawn of man, the infinite universe was inhabited solely by five beings. Tethra, Galana, Calic, Kaos and Anaxas; beings of immense power known as the Imperials. Peace was restored; but only momentarily as now Anaxas's power leaks out into the universe. The worlds are now in danger once more of being consumed by Anaxas's greed.
