When Keith was in the Texas Orphanage, he would sneak out and go to the nearby opera house. 

Zarkon was there, hiding on a remote planet(Earth) to escape some rebels (much to his annoyance). 

The Opera house was rarely used, so no one knew he was there. Keith loved the idea of singing for everyone, so he'd go out on stage and sing. 

Zarkon took a liking to his singing and decided to help him in the shadows. Then, one day, Zarkon disappeared, leaving Keith by himself. A few days later, Keith was taken in by Shiro. 

He still sings, hoping to attract the Phantom once again. 

But, what'll happen if Keith finds the one he was looking for in Space?

Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron.
