I raised up my eyebrows and pointed at his arms encircling my waist, with the tip of my chin. "You're going to let me go or not?" I asked, still fuming with anger. 

"Not," he groaned between his clenched teeth before slamming his lips onto mine and basically squishing me between the car and his body.

Ayla and Lewis are not so different after all. They are both hung up on their pasts, battling with their own selves, both afraid of trusting one another. 

They are just two complete strangers who stumbled across each other at the airport, before take-off. 

Ayla is a former golden girl from Maastricht, Netherlands. She has a great passion for writing but she doesn't have the courage to publish any of her work. She has all her future mapped out in her mind. She has even decided on the person that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. But she has missed only one point out. What if everything went south and suddenly, all of her plans were meaningless? 
All of a sudden, she finds herself at the airport, running away from her daunting past, hoping to discover her true personality away from her usual routines. 

Lewis is a witty, cocky British boy who lives in London and runs a café-pub. He's perfecting the laid-back, carefree player image for most of the girls but he never drops his guard down for anyone new and reveal what's underneath his charming mask. After all, the truth about him and his past is much more tragic that he cannot show his true colors to anyone else. And the truth lies under the lid of his precious 'notebook' that he hides away from the whole world. 
What if he comes across a lonely Dutch girl at the airport? Will he be able to keep his mask intact or gradually open up to this girl?
