Tea, a 17-year old living in the time of a high ranked-state named Novus, is divided into six regions separated and discriminated by eye color. After being sold as a slave to the king's son, a Blue, Tea discovers an unsettling change within her that she has never heard of before. She know that what she must do will lead to attempting the collapse of the state.
