"Why do we treat fictional characters like real people?" "Why do we cheer for them, fall for them, or even cry over them?"

For the longest time, I always wondered how and why readers and audiences build an emotional connection with fictional characters; this feature article breaks down and analyses just that. I wanted this work of literature to be creative and not only connect with my readers but inspire them, shock them and gain even more admiration for their favorite movie and story characters.
