By the legal age of 18 in Britain and all over the world; everyone gains a special mark. No one really understands the mystery as to why it happens at this age, or why it can't be removed. But y/n didn't mind hers at all. She had been waiting for so long to finally discover what hers looked like after all her older friends showed off their marks and wondered what their fates for the future would be. Would their marks lead them to wealth? Space? Fame? Ever lasting life? The past? The future?
...love? 
It was a mystery. An adventure to go on to find their fates. 
But little did y/n know that her life from the modern world would change drastically. For better or worse? Who knows?

I recommend skipping the first chapter as it's quite long and uneventful but that's your choice 😅
