I started this novel as an opportunity for me to work through a lot of the hurt I have gone through in my life and being forced into this community way before I even understood what the word consent was. I write this as a tool for healing and to have a character I relate to on a very deep and personal level go through situations I was forced into, but to come out on top of those emotions and to be even stronger. I have been on this website for years and have never once read a story that fully made the writer in me happy. Either it was amazing and was never updated, too rushed, or too slow.
