The Medium of McDuck manor

(This fic is to give context to my Huey Medium AU, so just know that it will stray from the canon at parts. Trust me, it's not a continuity error, just an AU. Also, please excuse the lack of cover art. I'll be adding that hopefully soon, but I'm mostly focusing on actually getting my writing started before getting too focused on minor details.)

Huey Duck was never quite like his siblings, and not in the black sheep sort of way; he fit in well enough, and their family was a happy one. He was different for another reason. Huey Duck could see ghosts.

Ghosts, Demons, Evil Spirits, he had the odd ability to see all of them, even if his family thought he was crazy. Ever since he was a duckling, the spirits have haunted him and his family, threatening their very lives, and every time Huey's had to banish them back to whatever hole they crawled out of.

Moving in with Scrooge, the spirits got bolder, even openly attacking his family, and threatening a fate far worse than death for one Scrooge McDuck. It couldn't go on forever, and now a new threat looms over the whole McDuck family, and it's up to Huey to save those he holds dear. With the help of Mallardry, his spectral mentor that once shared his gift; Webby Vanderquack, his best friend; and spirits of McDucks long gone, he'll have to prove himself and his powers as the Medium of McDuck Manor.
