The innocent smile that Emma Chase had worn most of her life has finally been recognized for the madness she hides behind it. Many have learned that her smile isn't innocent in the slightest bit and instead is tainted with the darkness of her past. 

Voices consume Emma's mind, ones that can control her life. Rebecca being the most prominent among them all. 

One thing after another is placed on the shoulders of a hazel eyed boy. Slowly he'll know all to well exactly how Emma lived her life. Once an anchor and now in need of his own. 

Slowly we begin to see Shawn spiral down into chaos after a certain incident that occurs with Emma. And as we learn about the havoc that Emma had to deal with, Shawn begins the see exactly why Emma was the way she was. 

What exactly had caused the voices in her head? Why were certain memories of her's missing? Is there something deeper going on?

Emma Chase. She may seem as a normal high school girl with a fiery spirit. Always smiling and laughing to jokes told by her friends. But was it real? He has been bugging me for a week, trying to talk to me and he even asked me to come to Logan's party on the weekend. My eyes must have been drilling holes into his face because he turns in my directions. I quickly turn back to Xander and Vanessa who were talking about their Art projects.
