Fixing Broken Hearts (George Weasley)

After the dreadful Battle of Hogwarts, even more terrible news is given to seventeen year-old Lauren Thompson. The former Ravenclaw is told that her house has been destroyed and her parents are missing, that they had been supposedly captured by Death Eaters a few days before Hogwarts had been attacked. Because she has nowhere else to go, Lauren is invited by her best friend Ginny Weasley to stay at her house, the Burrow, as long as she needs to, so Lauren decides to at least spend the summer there.

In the middle of her first night there, she hears sobbing and quickly seeks to find the source of it. She discovers that it is one of Ginny's older brothers, George, who had lost his twin in the battle against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. She comforts him as much as she can, and he also comforts her, since she is now halfway convinced her parents are dead.

Lauren has had a tiny crush on George since her fourth year, and during the weeks she spends at the Weasley house, can that small crush turn into something more, and will he feel the same? Can Lauren and George fix each others' broken hearts?
