Carrie May Frisco left home to find her mom, who mysteriously disappeared. She misses many things about home on her trekk to find her mom's kidnappers, but the two things she doesn't miss come back to find her. George Kentin, and the Pack. But now, George needs her help. She agrees to go home, after they find her mom. What will happen on her journies? ... The main characters are Carrie and George. Carrie's mom was kidnapped. Carrie left her home in Evening Shade, Arkansas, to find her. While looking, George catches up to her, and tells her there's big trouble at home. There have been murders within the Pack and an unknown force is taking over. Somehow, the tattoo that Carrie has had since birth is connected to everything, but George doesn't know exactly how. He agrees to help her find her mom if she helps him at home afterwards.
