This wasn't a beautiful story of mates with a happy ending. No it was a sick twisted reality where the heart throbs and butterflies in her stomach overwhelmed her, made her seethe and curse whatever entity was playing this joke on her.

Mates? Hah! For all of them she was just an obstacle,  the villainess of the biggest love story , the most loved couple they ever witnessed, a woman who met the tragic fate she deserved. 
A woman so horrible, so evil and vile even her mate wouldn't want her. 

-&gt; I snorted looking at that man prostrating himself in-front of me, this man so full of himself going to the lengths of defying fate for the woman he loved ,not even blinking once when destroying others in the name of love, he was now on his knees baring his neck at me. 

Oh my, the bliss and the sense of seniority I felt looking at the man clearly stronger and more influential than me who used to sneer at me, threaten me , haunt me and made my life sh*t was so empowering a smirk lifted my face. 
"Sorry what did you say again?" I questioned sweetly, honey dripping from my tongue. 
I could hear his teeth grind as he barely controlled his growl. 
After a moment he released a sigh as if he had lost all energy .
"Save her, I beg of you" his voice sounded tired, desperate even. 
I put my index finger on my chin, as if seriously thinking about it. 
He peeked from his position on the floor, eyes desperate ,hazy with the lack of sleep as a hint of insanity gleamed in them. 
A gentle smile lifted up my lips, as his eyes gained some glow hoping for a positive answer .
" I cannot wait for the day she dies the worst death ever" I gleefully clapped my hands , "I hope you both rot in hell" a laugh left my lips as  I stood up from my leaning position on my desk and walked out. 
If they painted me out to be a villain then I'd rather die as the evil one than help these dogs.All Rights Reserved

I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself. I knew I would be safe as soon as I saw the little cottage at the end of the thick forest. I was so close to my freedom, so close to opening the door. Bam! My body instantly became cold. I squealed as the snow fell into my collar and down my back. I wiggled trying to get it to pass through my coat and drop out the bottom. I turned around with a glare on my face. My father stood facing me with a smug grin. Again, I attempted to stomp into the house when suddenly, my mother jumped out at me out of no where and pelted snowballs at my entire body, I noticed through the chaos my big sister was also helping her. "OKAY! I surrender!" I cried, falling back into the icy blanket with tears of laughter flowing from my eyes. ********* I gasped as I woke from my dream. I looked at the forest around me. Cold, dark and empty. I still had hope that they were just hiding and that this was all just a bad dream, but after a moment or two of listening to the trees creaking, I sighed. I was alone.
