A symbolic game with the children whom parents once held the most power, what would have happened if Katniss had not killed Coin and had the 76th Hunger Games credits go to Suzanne Collins, in this version, sadly we will only have 12 children fight, (lol it only lets me add 20 characters)

[Rated mature due to violence, death, and blood.] This is a "what if" take on the ending of Mockingjay, written as a fanfiction, if something else had happened at the end. Please note that this is in no way officially connected to the original trilogy by Suzanne Collins. [Mockingjay spoilers ahead, read at your own risk] Summary: 13-year-old Clio Snow finds her life falling apart when her grandfather, President Coriolanus Snow, is killed by Katniss Everdeen after the rebellion of the districts against the Capitol. She is forced into an arena where each child must fight for their life as revenge for the years of suffering in the districts. The children are turned against one another, and Clio must choose between her life and the evil of taking another's, all while fighting to stay true to herself. Twenty-four tributes. One survivor. One final Games. "At some point, you have to stop running and turn around and face whoever wants you dead. The hard thing is finding the courage to do it."--Katniss Everdeen (Catching Fire, chapter 8)
