Spooky and Nayeli grew up together and then later became a "thing."

But things go wrong and he cuts her off, leaving her heartbroken and moving on. Years later she returns back from medical school, engaged, and to take care of her abuelita who's not getting any younger. Spooky hears she's back from his right-hand man, her brother, Leo.

He knows he should stay away, she's moved on and she's doing better than she would have had he never pushed her away but one meeting and the feelings return and stronger than ever after the time they spent apart. He should let her continue her life without him in it, but fuck that, he's claiming her back. She'll never get rid of this Santo.
