Glimpses of hope are often hard to spot in the darkened society of The Broken Citadel, a place situated in the far midst of the universe, remaining mostly untouched and undisturbed by anyone other than the citizens of the citadel itself. The inhabitants of this dystopian living environment are anything but free willed, consisting of blissfully unaware enslaved humans and aliens alike, held firmly under the thumb of their cruel and manipulative leader Victor Colton, a crazed hybrid with a sadistic desire to acquire a dominant hold upon those within his reach.
Yet when there is deception, suspicion arouses, and when there is suspicion, resistance forms.
Due to increasing uprisings and protests from a group of rebels which is quickly growing in number, Victor struggles to uphold order in the citadel, and his livelihood is at risk of crashing violently to the ground.

I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. "Are you just going to let her talk to you like that?" he goads Alex. (Complete. 70k words.)Complete

The plot primarily follows a sixteen-year-old Thomas Ianston, an immigrant from London seeking to meet his heroes and join them among the leagues of crime fighters that the city is famous for. Alas, Tommy himself does not have any superpowers that might warrant him a place among the city's greats. Tommy's hopes are almost up, until a single decision causes him to find himself under the wing of his idol, Dreamwisher, and an easy spot among the greatest team of protectors that the Earth has ever seen. But, Tommy's world is quickly twisted upside down. Deaths and betrayals cross paths with Tommy and Dreamwisher at every corner's turn. Will Tommy sacrifice all that he's ever known for his new found family and fame? Even he himself may never know. (TLDR: TommyInnit wants to be a superhero, but doesn't have any superpowers.)Complete

The ruling council believes that salvation is nigh, but whether that hope arrives in time is questionable. The city's future depends upon the actions of a few individuals, all of whom are struggling with their own mortality. Quentin is the boy who dreams of death. Mia is the tortured soul. And further, it doesn't take long for roles of "Heroes" and "Villains" to rise up as well. But... Who coins one as a "hero" or a "villain"...? The person themselves...? Or the people around them...? Light... Dark... Dusk... Dawn... Two sides of the same coin... Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey?
