Glimpses of hope are often hard to spot in the darkened society of The Broken Citadel, a place situated in the far midst of the universe, remaining mostly untouched and undisturbed by anyone other than the citizens of the citadel itself. The inhabitants of this dystopian living environment are anything but free willed, consisting of blissfully unaware enslaved humans and aliens alike, held firmly under the thumb of their cruel and manipulative leader Victor Colton, a crazed hybrid with a sadistic desire to acquire a dominant hold upon those within his reach.
Yet when there is deception, suspicion arouses, and when there is suspicion, resistance forms.
Due to increasing uprisings and protests from a group of rebels which is quickly growing in number, Victor struggles to uphold order in the citadel, and his livelihood is at risk of crashing violently to the ground.

New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Perhaps worst of all, the victim's perception of reality itself is controlled. A system of social credit hangs over everyone's heads. If you want to survive you will need to pick a company and stay loyal to that brand. But it goes beyond that, because each corporation has been infiltrated and taken over by forces that are interested in more than just profit. John is a Skinwalker, a free man, a man who is immune to these restrictions.
