As soon as class was over she wiped her eyes and picked up her stuff. I didn't want to leave her alone right now so I asked her if she wanted a coffee, she said "yes please" so delicately I cooed at her which brought a faint smile to her face. We went to the cafeteria together and she pulled out her earphones and started listening to what I would later learn was her 'soft' playlist. When they got to the front of the queue the lady asked her if she still had her cup from a few hours ago to which she answered no, it was at this point I realized this was her third large coffee in the last 2 hours, "there has to be something seriously wrong with this kid" I thought.
