Jadeena Roberts is a 15 year-old girl who was torn away from her family when she was 10 due to a fight between her home village and Outcast Island. She was then taken in by another family that had a daughter named Lisa who was also the daughter of the chief and therefore was in line for the throne of her island Sunlake Island. But one particular day she finds out something that will change her life for ever, will she be able to take in or will her life start to fall apart?

Note: this book take place just before the events of HTTYD2 so hiccup's gang are 19 and 20 year old's while Jadeena's gang and her are 15 and 14 year old's
