In this Au, Noble Two, Three, and Six are the only members of Noble team to have survived, Kat and Jun left Reach as Ryan or Noble Six stayed behind to defend Reach. He was believed by Oni to have died on reach, however, he survived his final stand and managed to get off-world. This gave him the chance to start anew under a new identity and separate himself from Oni, with the help of Miranda Keyes and some friends up top, he was given a mission to observe Project Freelancer. Miranda believed that the project could do good but also harm so she assigned him to infiltrate and observe. But if they prove to be trouble then he has permission to dismantle Project Freelancer.
