All through high school, Reagan Bell and Alec Mason, inseparable childhood friends and neighbors, had wanted to go to the same college. Had planned to go to the same college. But then, he got a scholarship, a full ride, to a university that she simply couldn't afford. It was their last summer together.  And how could she tell him not to take it? How could I tell him that she couldn't deal with being apart? After all, she was his best friend, not his girlfriend. Just a best friend, and nothing more.

When you truly love someone, you'd do anything to make them happy. This is something that both Reagan and Alec feel deeply. But with their last summer together coming to a close, time is running out for confessions.

Every summer the girls rent out an airbnb that allows two other people to rent the other half. Everytime they stay the girls wait to see who rents it out. It's always a random couple, either on their honeymoon, a trip, or two old ladies having a little get away. Thank you for your patience. The story is about a girl who narrates herself in her year 16. She is smart in her studies and extracurricular activities. But when it comes to love, she doesn't know how to react. She spends months with her best friends. Her sweet and silent nature changes and she becomes more courageous. She was able to do whatever she was scared of before only due to some circumstances. Her friends are the ones to change her. But will this friendship turn her to be a good girl or a bad one? Will their friendship last forever? Will something happen where she will be left all alone?
